The Bellingham Blazers defeated NPHL's No. 1 team, West Sound Warriors, in a shootout for a 5-4 win Friday, Nov. 8.

After a slow start for the Blazers, they managed to bring the game to a 4-4 tie during the third period, sending the game into overtime and then a shootout.

"It was a wild game tonight. We had to weather the storm early in the first period, and then we played really well after that. I am very proud of the whole team," Blazers coach Mark Collins said in a news release.

Robert MacDonald made 33 saves.
