Hannegan Farm and Home planning to close

Posted on November 7, 2013

Here's a Facebook message from owner Matthew Aamot about his business, Hannegan Farm and Home at 6931 Hannegan Road, (at Hinote's Corner):

Well, friends, we have given it a good try, but the time has come to stop digging a deeper hole. Unfortunately, at some point in the next couple weeks we will be closing the doors unless a miracle happens between then and now. I will be placing ads to see if there is anyone who would like to try their hand at running their own store - a lot of the hard work has already been done and someone with some savings and fresh enthusiasm may just turn this around. We have been so blessed by your support and patronage for the almost 20 months that we have been in operation. Not the desired outcome, but life is a series of stepping stones until the journey is complete. Stop in and say goodbye and help us with our final expenses buy purchasing some of our remaining inventory. Been a great experience - and I am sure our paths will cross again.  Matthew
