Lummi quad-district playoff preview

Blackhawks update: Lummi (7-2, 4-1 NWFL North) beat Tulalip Heritage 51-6 last week. The Blackhawks have won four straight since losing to No.1-ranked Neah Bay. Logan Toby threw five touchdowns two weeks ago, and Dino Williams caught six passes for 94 yards and two touchdowns. Lummi has allowed only six points three times this season.

Eagles update: Evergreen Lutheran (3-4, 2-1 NWFL South) beat Quilcene 62-36 last week. The Eagles already lost to Lummi once this year, 67-6, back on Sept. 27, in Lummi. Evergreen Lutheran has won twice since. The Eagles enter the playoffs winners of the NWFL’s South Division.

Player to watch: Deion Hoskins scored three touchdowns last week and could be in line for another big game.

Key to the game: Lummi already beat Evergreen Lutheran by 61 points this year. Showing the Eagles early nothing will be different this time should help the Blackhawks cruise. Herald’s pick: Lummi 56-12
