Windy conditions expected Thursday in Whatcom County

Another windstorm is expected to blow through western Whatcom County on Thursday, Nov. 7.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for 3 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. It calls for southerly winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts around 45 mph.

The winds are expected to shift to westerly along the coast in the afternoon.

While most trees have lost their leaves, wind this strong still could down limbs and cause power outages.
