Blazers erase two-goal deficit to beat Eugene

The Bellingham Blazers were able to overcome a rough start and pull off a 5-4 win against the Eugene Generals on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Bellingham Sportsplex. Mason Wade had two goals and an assist for the Blazers in the come-from-behind win.

Mickey Turner had two goals and an assist, and Bailey Shaver added a goal and an assist for Bellingham. Blazers Joshua Stone had 17 saves, as Bellingham outshot Eugene 50-21.

"We had a slow start but held it together for the win. Mason, Micky and the vets all played great," Blazers coach Mark Collins said.

Bellingham plays next on Friday, Nov. 8, in Bremerton against the West Sound Warriors.
