Lee leaving Peoples Bank for Skagit State Bank

Russ Lee is leaving Peoples Bank as president and Chief Operating Officer to take a similar position at Skagit State Bank.

According to a news release from Skagit State Bank, Lee will handle the day-to-day operations for Skagit State Bank. Lee received a BA degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and an MBA from Western Washington University in Bellingham.

CEO Cheryl Bishop will continue her role as CEO for Skagit State Bank. She will now have more time to focus on the bank's vision for growth opportunity, according to the news release.

Skagit State Bank was founded in Skagit County in 1958. Locally operated, Skagit State Bank has 12 offices from North Whatcom County to North Snohomish County.
