Guard Taylor Peacocke came off the bench to score a game-high 21 points and Sarah Hill had a double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds as Western Washington University rolled to a 90-58 victory over Quest University in an exhibition women's basketball game Saturday, Nov. 2, at Sam Carver Gymnasium on the WWU campus.
The Vikings scored the first 13 points of the second half, six by Sydney Donaldson, for a 58-33 lead with 15:25 remaining on a jumper by Peacocke, who had 15 points in the period.
Trailing 19-18 after the first 10 minutes, WWU ran off 12 consecutive points for a 30-19 advantage with 6:34 to go in the opening half and led 45-33 at the intermission. Hill had 14 points and 10 rebounds in the first 20 minutes.
The Vikings made 26-of-30 free throws and had 12 steals in forcing 23 turnovers.
