Lummi rolls past Tulalip Heritage

Deion Hoskins ran for three touchdowns to lead Lummi's football team to a 51-6 NWFL 1B win against Tulalip Heritage Friday, Nov. 1, in Marysville.

The Blackhawks outscored Tulalip Heritage 35-6 in the first half and added 16 more points in the third quarter.

Logan Toby threw for a 21-yard touchdown to Austin Brockie and ran for an 11-yard score in the second quarter.

"We got on them pretty quick," Lummi coach Jim Sandusky said during a phone interview. "We were able to throw and run the ball a little bit in the first quarter. Defensively, we pretty much shut them down. It was a good night for us."

The Blackhawks will either play Quilcene or Evergreen Lutheran next week Thursday, Nov. 7, on the road.
