Sedro-Woolley scores 49 unanswered to top Burlington-Edison

The Sedro-Woolley football team defeated Burlington-Edison 49-10 on Thursday, Oct. 31, in a Class 2A Northwest Conference matchup.

Burlington-Edison jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead in the first quarter after Eli Aguilar scored on a 4-yard touchdown run. The Tigers were able to hold Sedro scoreless until the second half where Shawn Kennedy reeled on two touchdown runs. Kennedy finished the game with 159 yards and three TD runs on 21 carries. From the onset of the second quarter, the Cubs ran off 49 unanswered points to secure the win.
