Bellingham Herald's iPhone app working again with latest Apple upgrade

Posted by JIM DONALDSON on October 30, 2013

If you use an iPhone app to access the latest news, business and sports stories from The Bellingham Herald, we have upgraded our app to comply with the most recent Apple update, iOS 7.0.3.

If you do not have auto-app updates enabled on your iPhone, you can update your app manually by opening the App Store, going to the "Updates" tab and clicking on the Update button next to the Bellingham Herald app.

Apple's minor update was temporarily incompatible with our app last week, causing the app to either crash or lock up. Our developers released an update to the App Store last week, and Apple approved it on Thursday.

Users who have not yet upgraded their iPhones to iOS 7.0.3 will continue to get news from our iPhone app.

Bellingham Herald is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
