Undefeated Sehome 6th in 2A, LC 5th in 1A

As the prep volleyball regular season is nearing an end, both Sehome and Burlington-Edison fittingly earned their respective places in the Class 2A rankings Monday, Oct. 28, by each defeating their opponent in straight sets.

Burlington-Edison (13-0, Northwest Conference 11-0) sits atop the Class 2A standings, with Sehome (13-0, NWC 11-0) coming in at No. 6. The two remaining unbeatens will finally face off on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Sehome, with the winner taking home the Northwest Conference championship title outright.

Also showing up in the rankings was Lynden Christian. Despite losing to Sehome in straight sets Monday, the Lyncs (12-2, NWC 10-2) are ranked No. 5 in the Class 1A rankings.

For Sehome and Burlington-Edison, whichever team comes out with the win gets top placement in the Class 2A 1/2 District Volleyball tournament, which begins Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Squalicum High School.

Lynden Christian begins the Class 1A District 1 Volleyball Tournament with a matchup against Meridian. The match begins at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Lynden Christian High School.
