Nooksack Valley falls down, comes back to beat Sedro

The Nooksack Valley volleyball team defeated Sedro-Woolley 23-25, 25-12, 25-15, 25-12 on Monday, Oct. 28, at Nooksack Valley.

"We had 12 hitting errors in the first game," Nooksack Valley coach Katie Emmons said in a phone interview, "that is why we lost. They kept the ball in play, and we were blasting it out."

Emmons said she spoke to her team about being more consistent, and that was the big reason the Pioneers were able to come back and win the final three sets.

"In game two ... we took a little bit off and we found the court," she said.

Both Lindsay Hayes and Taryn Tenkley had 13 kills, and Mariah Perry had 40 digs for Nooksack Valley.
