Violinist Gil Shaham performs with Whatcom Symphony Orchestra

Grammy- and Avery Fisher-award-winning violinist Gil Shaham plays a fresh interpretation of Brahms' Violin Concerto in D with the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Yaniv Attar, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at Mount Baker Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St.

Grammy- and Avery Fisher-award-winning violinist Gil Shaham plays a fresh interpretation of Brahms' Violin Concerto in D with the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Yaniv Attar, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at Mount Baker Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St.

The concert also includes Mendelssohn's "Hebrides" Overture and Schumann's Symphony No. 4 in D minor. A free pre-concert lecture by Ed Rutschman will take place at 2 p.m. in the theater's Encore Room.
