Rifle range south of Bellingham to close for one day

The Plantation Rifle Range, 5102 Samish Way, will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 24 for paving and repair work on the access road.

Crews will be on site on Wednesday, Oct. 23, and visitors are asked to be careful in construction areas and park where directed.

The range has indoor and outdoor shooting areas for pistols and rifles, according to the Whatcom County website. For more information, call the county Parks and Recreation Department, 360-733-2900.
