Supports Luke for County Council

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDOctober 22, 2013

I live in the Silver Beach neighborhood. I applaud our neighborhood's efforts to lead the way in the restoration of Lake Whatcom. Continued efforts to clean our water source are of the utmost importance; not just for those that live and play in the area, but for future generations as well.

The Silver Beach Neighborhood Plan is a great example of community leadership, it encompasses all important issues, yet balances living in the neighborhood, and identifying with it. This local plan best reflects the character and value of the residences. With an eye on the future, we have taken the lead, proving that everybody matters, and everyone has a role in our community.

I have met Michelle Luke, County Council candidate, and consider her an honorary member of our neighborhood because of her great appreciation of including everyone, because she knows everyone matters.
