Blazers earn win over Warriors

The Bellingham Blazers, a tier III junior hockey team, earned a 5-3 victory over previously unbeaten West Sound in NPHL action Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Bellingham Sportsplex.

Micky Turner had two goals and an assist for the Blazers and Bellingham also had goals from Cody Rich, Kevin Duncan and Mason Wade.

The Blazers (6-2) had a 38-29 advantage in shots on goal and Bellingham goalie Josh Stone had 26 saves.

The Blazers earned a 5-2 win over Tri-City on Saturday, Oct. 19, at home.

The Blazers had two goals from Sasha Perron and one each from Scott Hansen, Wade and Ty Hubbard.

Robert MacDonald had 20 saves in goal for the Blazers.
