BELLINGHAM - No one was injured when a school bus and a car crashed Monday afternoon, Oct. 21, at the intersection of Bill McDonald Parkway and 21st Street.

The bus was carrying 35 Fairhaven Middle School students on their way home from school at 4 p.m., said J. Marie Riche, a Bellingham School District spokeswoman.

Police moved the vehicles to Sehome High School and another bus took the kids home, Riche said.

The bus sustained minor damage and will have to get looked at by a mechanic.
