Learn about volunteering at Big Rock Garden Park

BELLINGHAM - People can learn about volunteering at Big Rock Garden Park during a 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, meeting in the Beach Pavilion at Bloedel Donovan Park, 2214 Electric Ave.

The Friends of Big Rock Garden Park group is looking for volunteers for the 2.7-acre sculpture garden, including for landscape planning, planting and weeding.

Volunteer also are needed to care for the park's sculptures, plan and promote art exhibits and other special events, and to plan for sculpture acquisitions.
