Sehome girls' soccer shuts out Lynden 2-0


The Sehome girls' soccer team defeated Lynden 2-0 on Thursday, Oct. 17, at Northwest Fields.

Stefanie Mindnich scored the first of the Mariners' two goals in the 19th minute. Emily Webster, who saw her first game action since returning from injury, scored the final goal of the match in the 68th minute.

"This is probably one of the best passing games my team has played," Sehome coach Andria Fountain said in a phone interview. "Lynden is always dangerous, and we had to keep them in check. I felt like we did a good job of that."
