Lynden dropped from the No. 1 spot in the Associated Press Washington State High School Football Poll after holding the position four weeks in a row.

The Lions (6-0, 4-0 NWC 2A/3A) earned the same number of first-place votes (seven) as Tumwater - the newly anointed No. 1-ranked Class 2A school - but the Olympia-area based team beat Bellarmine Prep, which was unbeaten and ranked No. 4 in Class 4A, while the Lions beat winless Bellingham. Tumwater earned 133 votes. Lynden tallied 131.

Mount Baker (5-1, 2-0 NWC 1A), like Lynden, also dropped in the polls despite beating Lynden Christian 49-14. The Mountaineers fell one spot from No. 6 to No. 7.

Ferndale (5-1, 3-1 NWC 2A/3A) dropped from the 3A rankings after suffering its first loss of the season, losing to Sedro-Woolley 32-20 at home. The Golden Eagles received seven votes, however.

Lummi (4-2, 1-1 NWFL 1B), which beat Crescent 71-6, stayed as the No. 5-ranked team in the Class 1B poll.

Camas was the unanimous No. 1 team in 4A, Bellevue stayed atop the 3A ranks, undefeated Zillah earned all the first-place votes in 1A, Morton/White Pass was ranked first in 1B and Neah Bay stayed No. 1 in the 1B rankings.
