Hispanic commission to hold Bellingham community meeting Friday

BELLINGHAM - Education and other issues important to the Hispanic community will be discussed at a community forum Friday, Oct. 18.

Commissioners from the Washington State Commission on Hispanic Affairs will attend, along with representatives of local school districts and law enforcement agencies.

People are asked to come prepared to discuss their ideas on education. This is one of several meetings the Commission on Hispanic Affairs conducts around the state to listen to community members.

The meeting will be 6 to 8 p.m. at Bellingham Technical College, 3028 Lindbergh Ave.
