Sehome boys' tennis earns win over Sedro-Woolley

The Sehome boys' tennis team swept singles play en route to a 5-2 victory over Sedro-Woolley on Monday, Oct. 14, at Sedro-Woolley High School.

At No. 1 singles, Sehome's Brady Anderson earned a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Sedro-Woolley's Michael Moser, and the Mariners had singles wins from Max Shmotolohka, Reece Gilbert and Charlie Lahud-Zahner.

The No. 3 doubles team of Darren Ma and Brendan Friesen earned a straight-set victory.

"At three doubles, they played really well together," Sehome coach Bonna Giller said in a phone interview of Ma and Friesen. "They were consistent, communicating. I was really happy with their match. And I was very happy with my singles players."
