Coach's quote: "Payton does a nice job of finishing her opportunities but has also been great at feeding other players on the team. She has been asked to play other positions while girls were out with injuries, excelling at new positions and displaying a team-first attitude in doing so." -Andrea Ames
What she did: VonFeldt was a part of four winning relays during Squalicum's meets against Sedro-Woolley and Anacortes last week. She also won the 100 freestyle against Sedro-Woolley, the 100 backstroke against Anacortes and earned a second-place finish in each of those meets.
Coach's quote: "Abby is no doubt one our most consistent swimmers on our team. (She) never misses workouts, never lets up during the workouts, swims many different events during the season and many of those are back to back (little rest) and never complains or asks to swim just her favorite events. I consider her one of our pillars on this team. Abby is a natural leader who our team depends on." -Steve Gibb
