Squalicum boys' cross country sweep top five for win

Squalicum boys' cross country captured the top five places for a perfect score of 15 to beat Lynden Christian, Sedro-Woolley and Blaine on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at Northern State. Chris Fredlund led the Storm with a time of 16 minutes, 21 seconds to take first in the race.

Lynden Christian was led by Jon Wiley, who finished at 18:13. Blaine's Parker Morris led the Borderites with a time of 18:26.

Nick Gallaher was second overall and second for the Storm at 16:50, followed by teammate Jared Radtke at 17:16. Squalicum's Chais Sugden was fourth overall at 17:46, and Dillon Rinauro rounded out the Storm sweep of the top five at 18:07.

Blaine and Squalicum race next at 9:40 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Lakewood High School for the Hole in the Wall Invite. Lynden Christian's next race is at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at Lake Padden for the Lake Lap Invite.
