Squalicum cruises to easy win over Sedro-Woolley


The Squalicum volleyball team defeated Sedro-Woolley 25-9, 25-13, 25-11 on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Squalicum.

"It was a really good match for us," Squalicum coach Laurie Yearout said in a phone interview. "I thought the things we have been working on in practice showed today."

Meghan Lowry had five kills, Kayla Chang had 10 digs and Hannah Loy added three aces in the match.

"We have really been serving on our servicing and blocking," Yearout said. "We got our younger girls in and they played really well. That was great to see."
