Free personal digital archiving workshop Friday in Bellingham

BELLINGHAM - The local branch of the Washington State Archives is offering a free one-hour workshop on the "Basics of Personal Digital Archiving" on Friday, Oct. 11.

Registration is required for the noon brown bag event at the Northwest Regional Branch of the archives, located at the corner of 25th Street and Bill McDonald Parkway, on the southern edge of the Western Washington University campus. To register, email megan.shoemaker@sos.wa.gov or call 360-650-3125.

The branch also will be hosting a fall open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, where people can view selected archive material and go on guided tours of the archives.
