Says Obamacare will improve care

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDOctober 7, 2013

The on-going hysteria by the likes of Ted Cruz and others about "Obamacare" is ramping up because this very important piece of legislation is about to be implemented. Can it be that they know that it will become popular and that people will finally find out that it is a good thing?

This policy is not about the government interfering in our health care. It is about managing health care dollars to insure that everyone has access to on-going health care, even the poor and their children. It means that the emergency rooms will no longer be providing primary, expensive (for all of us) non-emergency care to people who have not been able to afford insurance. It means that we can then move into the 21st century, like forward-thinking countries, recognizing that access to health care is not only a right, but a necessity.
