Rich's hat trick not enough for Blazers

The Bellingham Blazers hockey team fell to the West Sound Warriors 6-3 on Friday, Oct. 4 at the Bellingham Sportsplex. Cody Rich had a hat trick for the Blazers, but they couldn't overcome the Warriors' offensive push in the third period.

The score was tied at three after about eight minutes in the third period before West Sound poured it on scoring three unanswered goals to clinch the victory.

Bellingham goaltender Joshua Stone had 31 saves, and Mason Wade and Scott Hansen each added two assists. Nick Sherbinin and Austin Sabin each had an assist for the Blazers.
