Red Raiders dominate in duel meet

The Bellingham girls' swim team scored 284 points during a dual meet between Lindbergh and Ferndale on Friday, Oct. 4, at Arne Hanna Acquatic Center.

Lindbergh finished second with 231 points, and Ferndale had 123.

The Red Raiders had a particularly strong showing, accounting for 41 individual best times. Maddie Gillman and Anna McNabb both recorded two individual wins. Gillman was also involved in two relay wins, while McNabb was in one.

Caitlin Wilhoite was the lone swimmer from Ferndale to record a win. She placed first in the 100 backstroke.

Chloe Steinkamp added two total wins to her name for Bellingham, as well.
