Whatcom council candidates to meet in Bellingham forum

BELLINGHAM - Candidates for Whatcom County Council will appear at a League of Women Voters forum on Thursday, Oct. 10.

The forum runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Bellingham Municipal Court, 2014 C St.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and audience members are encouraged to arrive early. Candidates will respond to questions from a League of Women Voters moderator and the audience.

The forum will be aired live on the city's television channel, BTV10, and on the city website at cob.org/services/education/btv10.

Races for County Council are between Kathy Kershner and Barry Buchanan, Ken Mann and Ben Elenbaas, Michelle Luke and Carl Weimer, and Rud Browne and Bill Knutzen.
