Bellingham cruises past Sedro-Woolley in strong fashion

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDOctober 4, 2013

T The Bellingham boys' tennis team defeated Sedro-Woolley 7-0 on Friday, Oct. 4, at Sedro-Woolley.

"I think this was the best match we have played as a team," Bellingham coach Steve Chronister said in a phone interview. "Sedro-Woolley is a very solid group, and they have been playing well and winning a lot."

Neither of the Red Raiders' three doubles pairings droped a set, with the duo of Chris Nakatani and Chad Cheldelin winning their match without dropping a single game.

"Our doubles were very good," Chronister said. "Nate (Pearsall) and Logan (Schilder) played their best match. I thought they were just playing extremely sound tennis."

Pearsall and Schilder only lost three games in their match.
