Burlington-Edison dominant in win over LC

The Lynden Christian girls' soccer team fell to Burlington-Edison 4-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Lynden Christian.

Megan Wilburg scored the Tigers' first goal in the 23rd minute. The Tigers went scoreless up until Nicole DeBoer scored back-to-back goals in the 60th and 65th minutes, respectively. Abby Dimock rounded out Burlington-Edison's scoring night with a goal in the 78th minute.

"Burlington-Edison was really opportunistic today," Lynden Christian coach Brent De Ruyter said in a phone interview. "They just willed the ball in. We had some good chances; they just had a little more than we did."
