Lynden Music Festival opens Oct. 5

Ruusamari Teppo, a pianist and the great-granddaughter of composer Jean Sibelius, will appear the Lynden Music Festival, which takes place Saturday, Oct. 5, through Oct. 13, 2013 at the Jansen Art Center, the Claire vg Thomas Theatre, Lynden Community Center and in private homes.

Ruusamari Teppo, a pianist and the great-granddaughter of composer Jean Sibelius, will appear the Lynden Music Festival. Other featured acts include a ukulele orchestra, the Bellingham rhythm and blues band The Atlantics, and the Mount Baker Toppers a cappella chorus.

The festival takes place Saturday, Oct. 5, through Oct. 13 at the Jansen Art Center, the Claire vg Thomas Theatre, Lynden Community Center and in private homes.
