Blazers earn two wins at Tri-Cities

Dawson Quint had a hat trick in the Bellingham Blazers' 7-4 win on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Tri-Cities Outlaws and the Blazers, a tier III junior hockey team, finished off a sweep of the Outlaws.

The Blazers dug a 3-0 hole in the first period, but Bailey Shaver, Mason Wade and Sasha Perron all scored to tie up the game 3-3 in the second period.

After falling back 4-3 in the third period, Quint scored all three of his goals and Perron added his second of the game.

Brody Parker had seven saves in goal for the Blazers and Robert MacDonald had 17 as they shared time as goalkeepers.

On Friday, Sept. 27, the Blazers earned a 4-0 victory at Tri-Cities.

Kevin Duncan, Cody Rich then scored two goals and Wade finished off the scoring for Bellingham with a goal of his own.

Joshua Stone stopped 18 shots in goal to earn the shutout.
