Documentary about former Bellingham woman's adoption story to run again at Pickford

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDSeptember 30, 2013

People who missed the July premier of "Closure," the documentary about former Bellingham resident Angela (Burt) Tucker's search for her father and for her mother who put her up for adoption, will have two more chances to see the film.

The movie will be shown at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, at Pickford Film Center, 1318 Bay St., as part of its "Doctober" lineup of documentaries.

Tucker was adopted by David and Teresa Burt of Bellingham after she was put up for adoption in Chattanooga, Tenn. Tucker, who attended Bellingham High School and graduated from Seattle Pacific University, later began searching for her birth parents, an emotional journey presented in "Closure," which was made by her husband, Bryan Tucker. Both plan to answer audience questions after the showings.
