Martin Dockery, a veteran of fringe theater in Seattle and elsewhere, returns to Bellingham with two plays, on stage Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 3-5, at iDiOM Theater, 1418 Cornwall Ave

"Bursting into Flames," playing at 8 nightly, is his one-man show, an explosively comic tale of one man's tenuous grasp on reality as he endures an eternity of paradise in Heaven.

"The Pit," playing at 10 nightly, is a surreal and humorous send-up about domestic bliss, featuring Dockery and Vanessa Quesnelle.

Tickets are $10 for each show, available at 360-201-5464 and idiomtheater.com.
