Year: Senior

Height: 5-foot-9

Weight: 230 pounds

Positions: Offensive tackle/defensive tackle

Question: How did you first start playing football?

Answer: My friend, Jason Swanson, did it the year before I did, and we always sat together on the bus, and when he had practice I'd be all alone with two girls in the back, and I didn't want girl germs, so I decided to play football in sixth grade.

Q: What do you like most about playing football?

A: I love how we're all a huge family and we all have each other's back, no matter what.

Q: What is your favorite part of game night?

A: Looking into the stands and seeing our community support us. Our fans travel far to see us sometimes, and it's always nice to have some Pioneer fans at an away game.

Q: What is your favorite football memory?

A: My favorite memory is when the linemen all had water balloons and ambushed the receivers and quarterbacks.

Q: What is your favorite play to run on game night and why?

A: My favorite play is a counter, because I get to hit people harder than usual on that play.

Q: Who is the funniest guy on your team and why?

A: Brady Wood is probably the funniest guy on the team. His laugh is hilarious, and he knows some pretty good jokes/pranks.

Q: What is your usual/favorite pregame meal?

A: Our team has dinners the night before games, and I usually try to eat a little bit of everything for a well-balanced meal.

Q: Do you have any pregame rituals/superstitions?

A: I always look in the mirror to make sure I look good, because a friend of mine said that if you look good then you will play good!

Q: Is there a reason you chose your jersey number?

A: When I saw the number 61, I just had a gut feeling to choose it.

Q: What position, other than the ones you currently play, would you like to try and why?

A: I would love to play safety; I played it in a small game of two-hand touch football and loved it.

Q: What drill do you dislike running the most in practice?

A: The sled - I've been pushing it around for four years, and it's kind of getting old.

Q: Do you root for the Huskies or Cougars and why?

A: Cougars, because one of my close friends, Matt Judy, goes there.

Q: Who is your favorite NFL player and why?

A: The Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, because he looks like he has lots of fun and he makes big plays.

Q: What do you think is the best sports movie and why?

A: "The Waterboy," because it's super funny.

Q: What other sports do you like to play?

A: I do some snowboarding in the winter, and that's always tons of fun.

Q: What do you plan to do after you are done with high school?

A: I plan on being a mechanic and coaching for the Pioneers.

Q: What other hobbies do you have?

A: I have tons of fun riding horses and doing barrel racing on them.

Q: What is the most played song on your iPod?

A: "The Boys of Fall" by Kenny Chesney.

Q: What is your favorite TV show and why?

A: "Duck Dynasty," because they have one funny family.

Q: What is your favorite video game?

A: I don't play a lot of video games, but when I do I usually play "Call of Duty."

Q: What is your most favorite and least favorite class in school and why?

A: My favorite class is PE, because I'm super competitive and love to play games. My least favorite class is English, because that's the class I get the most homework in.

Q: What is your favorite Tweet to follow, and why?

A: I don't have a twitter.
