Roley, Holmgren shine for Sehome

The Sehome girls' swimming team defeated Sedro-Woolley 124-51 on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at the Arne Hanna Aquatic Center.

Gwen Roley had a strong meet for the Mariners, winning the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle while being a part of the winning 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay teams.

"Gwen had a great meet," Sehome coach Don Helling said in a phone interview.

Hannah Holmgren also was a part of three winning races, including winning the 200 freestyle while being on the 400 and 200 freestyle relay teams.

"All around I was pleased with how we did," Helling said.
