The Lynden boys' tennis team earned a 5-2 win against Ferndale during a Northwest Conference match Friday, Sept. 20, at Lynden High School.

Lions singles players Grant Wolffis, Tylar Holden and Kameron Muljat earned wins, and doubles pairings Dakota Davis and Ben Mulder and Austin Vanderhaak and Cody Engelsma both won their matches.

"It was a really close match," Lynden coach Trey Ballard said during a phone interview. "Out of the gates we started quick, and Ferndale really responded. I'm really proud of our guys. Grant has had a rough week and has won two out of his three matches, and my No. 1 doubles team is still undefeated."
