Squalicum boys' cross country sweeps top four in win

Chris Fredlund led Squalicum boys' cross country to an easy meet win against Anacortes and Lynden on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Whatcom Falls Park. Fredlund finished the 4K course in 13:53 as the Storm captured the top four spots in the boys' race.

Squalicum's Dillon Rinauro was second at 13:53, followed by Jared Radtke's time of 14:10 and Chais Sugden was fourth at 14:11.

"To have them all come in together was really exciting and shows that we'll have a pretty good team," Squalicum coach Katrina Henry said in a phone interview.

Lynden was led by Thomas Swineford, who came in at a time of 14:34, and Dylan Holland led Anacortes with a time of 14:26.

All three teams will attend the South Whidbey Invite at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, at South Whidbey.
