Lynden Christian volleyball slams Blaine

Lynden Christian volleyball slammed Blaine, 25-16, 25-14, 25-8, in a Northwest Conference match Thursday, Sept. 19, at Blaine.

Madison Weg led the Lyncs with 19 assists and nine kills. Karley De Jager had 12 kills for Lynden Christian, and Morgan Van Kooten and Kara Bajema added nine kills each.

"We had a balanced attack tonight, everyone got to see time on the court," Lynden Christian coach Kim Grycel said in a phone interview. "We really minimized errors well."

Makayla Lancaster led the Lyncs in digs, with nine.

Lynden Christian hosts Bellingham, Tuesday, Sept. 24, while Blaine plays Nooksack Valley, Tuesday, Sept. 24, at home.
