Hofstetter sets up Bellingham volleyball sweep

Bellingham volleyball took down Lynden 25-12, 25-23, 25-22, Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Bellingham. The Red Raiders were led by Kellie Hofstetter's 35 assists.

"We played united tonight, this is the first time we've beat Lynden in three sets," Bellingham coach Kim Bjorklund said in a phone interview. "They stayed focused thoughout the match."

Bellingham's Olivia Bjorklund had 17 kills in the match, and Kim Bjorklund said she came up big in the first set, which Bellingham was very dominant in. Anna Zeegers led the Red Raiders in digs, with 20 on the night.

Bellingham's next match is at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Lynden Christian. Lynden's next match is at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24, when the Lions host Squalicum.
