Ferndale Art in the Park is Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 14 and 15


FERNDALE - The Ferndale Arts Commission will host Art in the Park on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 14 and 15, at Pioneer Park and next to it.

The event runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. It will feature local artists and performing artists, including storytellers, dancers, musicians and an open drumming circle. Free art activities for children will be provided.

Admission is free. Food will be available for purchase.

Artists will show and sell their artwork inside the park's Tillicum House and the Ferndale Library Conference Room, located next door at 2007 Cherry St. Dance students, music and storytelling performances will be at the park starting at noon Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
