Anacortes edges Friday Harbor in opener

Andrew Medalia's 12-yard touchdown reception from Jared Douglas in the fourth quarter gave Anacortes a 20-19 season-opening win at Friday Harbor on Friday, Sept. 6.

The win was the first for new coach Dustin South and equaled the Seahawks' win total from 2012.

Douglass passed for 156 yards and two touchdowns, both to Medalia, who finished with 86 yards and four catches.

Friday Harbor Nathan Steenkolk rushed for 104 yards on 12 carries.
