Sehome Rite Aid open house to feature free health screenings

BELLINGHAM - The newly remodeled Sehome Rite Aid store will have an open house celebration Saturday, Sept. 7, that includes free health screenings.

The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. Nurses and licensed pharmacists will be on hand to help with a variety of free health tests, including cholesterol, blood pressure and blood glucose. They also will offer screenings for memory impairment and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Product samples and interactive demonstrations also will be offered.

The Wellness Store layout is the latest store design from Rite Aid that includes more staff and additional wellness-focused products, according to a news release from the company.

The Sehome Rite Aid is at the Sehome Village shopping center at 220 36th St.
