Suggests northern site for new store

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDSeptember 2, 2013

I believe the new Costco store is not going in the right place. The area of Fred Meyers on Bakerview has way too much traffic already. A Costco store between Bellingham and Ferndale or near Blaine would be a much better alternative. Land is cheaper and it would be much more desirable than the "chosen" area. My check of the license plates at the Meridian Costco shows nearly 50 percent Canadians. This would be more convienient for them (and hey folks, if not for them, some of our businesses would fold).

Let us hope that it is not too late to relocate.
