Speaker offers tip for catching Squaxin coho

Kelly Corcoran will talk about the Squaxin Island net pen coho fishery at Thursday’s meeting of the South Sound chapter of Puget Sound Anglers.

Corcoran is a long-time member of the Olympia chapter and a life-long resident of the area. An avid fisherman, Corcoran grew up fishing the South Sound. He will talk about the returning Squaxin Island net pen coho fishery, and share some tips on how to catch those fish.

The meeting is free and open to the public. The general meeting starts at 7 p.m. with Corcoran’s program starting at 8 p.m. The meeting will be at Lacey Community Center, 6729 Pacific Ave. SE, Lacey.
