A few biz tidbits

Posted by DAVE GALLAGHER on August 20, 2013

It's been a busy week for local business news, so apologies for a late start on this week's business tidbits. Here are a few items:

--Ethoseo, a local online search engine company, has moved to the Bellingham National Bank building at 103 E. Holly St., Suite 204. The move allows the company to expand its staff and bring in new clients, said owner Damien Wright.

The four-year-old company offers a variety of services, including keyword research, search engine optimization and website development. For details, visit ethoseo.com or call 360-255-7312.

-- A public meeting will be held about a proposed new project at 300 East Sunset Drive.

The project involves converting the Smoking Sam Mini Mart to a drive-through pharmacy and GNC store.

The meeting will be held at Sunnyland Elementary School at 2800 James St. at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28. The meeting is required by the city before land use permits can be submitted.

-- A seasonal Spirit Halloween store is going into a building at 4145 Meridian St., near the Meridian Cost Cutter.

-- Sears Home Store had its permits approved to remodel and move into 3548 Meridian St., near the Bellingham Golf & Country Club. The company is planning to be ready by late fall.
