THE BELLINGHAM HERALDAugust 18, 2013

LYNDEN - Drivers are encouraged to avoid Hannegan Road from Laurel Road north to Pole Road starting Monday, Aug. 19, as crews repave Hannegan.

Flaggers will direct traffic through a single lane from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Delays could be as long as 20 minutes.

The full repaving project, scheduled into late September, extends from Laurel north to Scott Ditch Bridge, 11/2 miles south of the Lynden city limits.
