State Street in Bellingham to close for roundabout construction

BELLINGHAM - Crews working on the roundabout at the south end of downtown will close State Street on Monday, Aug. 19, at the intersection with Forest Street, Boulevard Street and Wharf Street.

Boulevard, which has been closed since July 29, will be open. Residents who live on State Street on the hill above Boulevard will need to drive down Boulevard to its south intersection with State.

Wharf Street will remain closed. Flaggers will direct traffic, and drivers should expect delays.
